(8/6/2001) In August we party where the sun never goes down at Bikini.com. If there's one thing that never goes out
of style, it's beautiful people selling the latest swimwear. And Bikini.com
is just that, an emporium of women and men's clothes that are a spectacle
for the eyes. While you're enjoying the serene layout of the site, you
can purchase everything from a two-piece to a fresh supply of tanning oil.
But for those who visit Bikini.com for the shows and not the merchandise,
there are plenty of streamed videos showing International supermodels wearing
the best that the website has to offer. ¡Es muy buena!
(7/28/2001) In July we let the sparks fly in 8-bit Theater. It would appear that V Planet isn't the
only online publication to express it's opinion repeatedly that Final Fantasy
I for the NES was the best Final Fantasy game of all time. But no other
site has taken the same dedication that 8-bit Theater has in turning this
opinion into some hilarious tongue-and-cheek humor that satirizes the entire
role-playing universe! With the classic story of Final Fantasy retold in
comic strip or Flash-animation format and updates every week, this is simply
a must-see for RPG fans.
(6/21/2001) June remains to be the time to be wonderful with the Stone Temple Pilots. If you're a fan of bands like Alice in
Chains, The Beatles, and David Bowie, then you've probably at one time
or another heard the music of the Stone Temple Pilots. Their latest album,
Shangri-La Dee Da, features the band's hard guitar sounds and vocals through
tracks like Days of the Week, Hollywood Bitch, and Wonderful. Check out
the official Stone Temple Pilots website for the full skinny, pics, and
some audio samples.
(5/12/2001) This May we grab the popcorn to watch Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Final Fantasy is, without a doubt, the
most common inspiration for QB programmers around the world. So when Square
and Columbia pictures join forces to bring the magic of Final Fantasy to
the big screen, new levels of graphics and detail are bound to be met.
Mixing the Final Fantasy name with a sci-fi theme, Square intends to have
a movie that will attract Final Fantasy fans and casual movie-goers alike.
Visit the official site of the movie for all kinds of concept art, wallpapers,
and more goodies inspired by the movie.
(4/9/2001) In April we step into the humorous and utterly devout cause that is The First Church of Pac-Man. It's very rare to find a videogame site
that is so dedicated to covering all the information about the videogame
icon which the site is portraying. Yet, this is what the First Church of
Pac-Man is all about. Disguised with the humor of a webmaster named Reverend
Shoebox, the First Church of Pac-Man is the ultimate guide to the rise
and continuing stardom of Pac-Man, one of the most beloved videogame characters
and ghostbusters of all time. The site has gained so much popularity that
even Namco stepped in and gave the First Church goodies that you won't
find anywhere else. There's even an appeareance from Phillip Jay Cohen's
Pac-Man clone in the Church! If you've been waiting forever for a worthy
Pac-Man site, this is the one that deserves your attention.
(3/11/2001) This March we reveal V Planet's latest creation, XBox: The Unveiling. The console wars are well underway, and it's Microsoft who will play a key role in being a new challenger through their new console, the Microsoft XBox. Does Microsoft have what it takes to tackle the competition? The folks at V Planet have put together a website that voices our opinion on the matter. If you're a videogaming fan, be sure to check this site out.
