Entertainment (February 2001-September 2000)

(2/14/2001) February brings in a little bit of Sports Illustrated to the QB community with Matthew's Josie Maran Fanpage.

When it comes to unsung attractive women (or rather women who are so attractive that words can not describe them), Josie Maran is certainly up there. And when it comes to fan sites with great pictures of Josie, Matthew's Josie Maran fan page is up there with the best of them. With pages of pictures from Josie's appearances in Victoria's Secret, Glamour, and other publications, Matthew's Josie Maran page is an absolute joy. And once you've seen the pictures and read the bio, be sure to stop by Matthew's other fan pages, including a Sarah Michelle Gellar and Andrea Corr shrine.

(1/12/2001) The Year of the Snake opens up with the sexy Rachael Leigh Cook.net.

Before jumping into movies, Rachael Leigh Cook built her acting career on the Babysitters Club and by smashing eggs with a frying pan. After that, Rachael Leigh Cook appeared in movies like Get Carter and She's All That. Now you can count on RachaelLeighCook.net to show you even more, with tons of pictures and news on the actress of the movie Anti-Trust as well as the upcoming Josie and the Pussycats... with up-to-the-minute info everytime, it's very rare that you get a celeb site as dedicated to their inspiration as this.

(12/24/2000) December celebrates hilarious spoofing from Dude Studios.

Whether you're into the Holidays or not, this pavillion of hilarious Flash cartoons will make you laugh harder than trying a really bad QB game! Dudestudios is the best place for Flash cartoons with humor that has a kick. Their original series "Gnarlyville" is clearly for the demented, but if you like twisted humor then you should give Dude Studios a try. Just click on a Gnarlyville movie and start.

For those of you who prefer movie parodies, you're going to love Dude Studio's Flash cartoon based on Star Wars, known as Star Dudes! See Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and the rest of the Star Wars characters as never before! See Flash movie trailers before watching the movie parodies! Dude studios is proof that great things can happen to great wastes of time!

(11/20/2000) November is the month to take some names because The Ultimate A-Team Site Has Taken over.

Long before the now stale "Mr. T vs. the World" satire sites on the Internet, Mr. T wasn't fighting the enemies of pop culture. No... back then, Mr. T was B.A. Baracus, the big badass who coined the term "I pity the fool". And back then Mr. T was just one of a group of badasses like Hannibal, Face, and Murdock. And these four guys represented the underground good guys running from the law in a glamorized TV show called "The A-Team".

After a long and thorough search, The Ultimate A-Team Site is easily the best A-Team site out there. Don't even waste your time on the search engines... this A-Team site has absolutely everything. Episode guides, soundbites, photos and wallpapers, and Mr. T shirts are but the tip of the iceberg. If you're a fan of this show, or you're a fan of G.I. Joe action figures and you want to know where that phenomenon really picked up, this is the website to visit.

(10/9/2000) October is our attempt to find the funny with Cosby.com.

I'm not exactly sure why some celebrities ignore the benefits of having a great Internet site available for their fans. And Bill Cosby, one of the most famous comedians in the world (whether it's from the Cosby Show or from his Jell-O commercials), just happens to be one of those people who doesn't have a highly detailed Internet site in his name. Yet there's something about Bill Cosby's website and it's unique layout that did something no other Internet site could do... it made me laugh. That much is reason enough for the very small Cosby.com to be Entertainment site of the month.

(9/11/2000) In September we moved from eonline.com to eminemonline.com.

While the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards left the world shaken with Rage Against the Machine, stirred with *NSync, and fired up with Britney Spears, it was Eminem who took top honors at the 2000 VMAs when he received the Video of the Year award with "The Real Slim Shady". Since then, Eminem's 3rd album "Marshall Mathers" (controversial lyrics and all) have hit multi-platinum status.

Eminemonline.com makes no secret of it's relentless support for freedom of speech, the defeat of online-music sharing service Napster, and the use of rap as therapy (which are all factors that make up the Eminem philosophy). And with plenty of Eminem information (within reason), Eminem Online is a great fan site to go to if you want to learn more about the rapper who put Detroit back on the map.
