QB Battle Arena v.1f Beta Publically Released
(4/23/2004) That's it! No more teasers. The version of V Game's all-QB character fighting game previously available only to certain developers is now a free-for-all public release. Download and enjoy..

With 11 playable characters, there's a lot of cool moves to try out in QB Battle Arena's first public beta.

For nearly two years, V Planet's in-house programming group V Games has been working on QB Battle Arena, a fighting game based on many of QB's most popular videogame characters. But six months ago, a second hard drive crash occurred, wiping out valuable progress with the QB Battle Arena game, including two game characters, drawings, sound effects, and programming code. Because much of the QB Battle Arena game is original material and no back-up was made, these files need to be remade for the game to be completed.

Even though the crash was untimely and annoying, it would be unfair to the QB gaming fans, especially those who have been anticipating QB: Battle Arena, if the game was simply shelved. Also, the exact future of the QB Battle Arena project is uncertain. The game will certainly be finished; but will the game still have four secret chracters even though much of the character data is lost? Will there be less characters? More characters? It all depends on the inspiration drawn in completing the project.

While we ponder the future of this highly-anticipated game, due to popular demand V Games is finally releasing a public beta of QB Battle Arena v.1f, the very same beta tried by the QB gamemakers who inspired this game! Featuring a one or two-player versus mode, eleven characters, music, sound, and joystick support, this public beta is very playable, and gives a pretty good idea of how the final product will be like when it's finally completed.

You can download QB Battle Arena v.1f by clicking here. Have fun! =)
