With the entire starting line-up finished and fully playable, V Planet's in-house coding group V Games sent out an exclusive beta of QB Battle Arena to the different programmers and artists who created the characters featured in the all-star QB characters fighting game. The current beta of QB Battle Arena, which features several characters, is the first beta V Games released to people not working at V Planet. The purpose of the beta is to allow the developers who've inspired the game to try out their characters and to ask for their approval to feature their characters in the game. "Reaction to the beta overall has been very positive," says programmer and current Editor of V Planet, Vance Velez. "There are some issues that definitely need to be worked on, like Windows XP compatiblity and other factors. Receiving feedback from so many different QB game-makers has also been a real treat. The advice is very constructive, and that will help to make QB Battle Arena more entertaining and fun by the time it is released." The next step in the QB Battle Arena project is to draw remaining backgrounds and make the boss character of the game. Secret characters are also being considered, to which a second developer's beta will be released if necessary. Article Written by QBShire |
