V Planet Mailing List Re-Activates
(1/7/2003) After taking a long nap, the V Planet Mailing List via is re-activated for a new era of up-to-the-minute QB news.

Joining the V Planet mailing list would be the next best thing to getting QB game news delivered straight to your door.

When V Planet went offline for an extended period of time last February, one of the features of the website that was lost was the V Planet! Mailing List, a medium used by V Planet to deliver special news and site update information to our readers. It's this powerful weapon that served as a great "filler" during long update periods, and it also gave our staff a great opportunity to communicate with readers about big QB events, including the Gaming Golds and (back in 2000) the QB Expo.

The idea for the V Planet! Mailing List was made and conceived by V Planet Web Technician Jeremy Hammond, who hosted the ListApp through is a great, free service for setting up mailing lists, but there's one catch: lack of activity during a six-week period closes the Mailing List for good, and deletes the list of people who signed up for the V Planet! Mailing List. This is a mistake that the staff is now aware of, and measures will be taken to make sure that the V Planet! Mailing List isn't deleted again, even if the V Planet website does go down for an extended period of time.

With that in mind, everyone who signed up for the V Planet! Mailing List before January 14, 2003 should re-register by clicking on the appropriate link below:

V Planet apologizes for any inconvenience resulted from people who signed up for the V Planet! Mailing List before January 14, and hope that this third version of the Mailing List will be the one that sticks.
