Find out who else lay claim to the prize.
After many grueling days of voting between QBasic gamers and programmers registered at the QBasicNews.com Forums, the first QBasicNews Forum Gaming Awards have concluded. This gaming award, which pitted some of the best of the best of all time when it comes to QB games, was organized by Na Than Assh Antti and Aetherfox, and was unique in the sense that it is the first QB gaming awards to take place entirely in a QB community-related message board. Leading the winners in the QBasicNews Forum Gaming Awards is Ped Xing's Quest. The Typosoft QBRPG, which was only the second QBRPG to earn over 30 points in V Planet's top QBRPG list, nabbed four awards in the awards ceremony, consisting of Best RPG, Best Male Character, Best Story, and Best Overall Winner. Other notable winners include two-time QBNF winner Jill the Goddess. The relatively new platformer earned award nods for Best Graphics and Best Female Character. An in-house victory at V Planet is also celebrated as The Hunt, which was programmed by V Planet game reviewer Terry Cavanagh, won Best Action Game. Promzone, which earned a hefty 23 points in V Planet's Top Platform game review list, also grabbed an award for Best Platform Game.
