(7/6/2002) Amidst an update drought from V Planet and GBGames, a third QB Game Review site comes to help out.
During the most recent game review drought between V Planet and fellow QB game review site GBGames, one person from the QB community took it into his or her own hands to present a new perspective not on all QB games, but on QB games that do not receive enough attention or QB games that have been reviewed before, but can be looked at in a different way. The goal was to establish that person's (who goes under the alias of a period symbol) views on certain QB games while establishing a third place for QB game reviews in the event that a QB game deserves more credit than it is receiving or if V Planet and GBGames become inactive similar to the way Pete's QB Site, the first QB review site, stopped updating. Thus came the birth of Lovely Pressure.
Since it's debut, Lovely Pressure has been steadily gaining momentum, writing game reviews that concentrate primarily on QB's "big games" and games that simply itch for a second opinion. The Lovely Pressure philosophy is that gameplay is the main factor that drives any game, and reviews in the site are written as such. Readers will also notice that Lovely Pressure is the first QB game review site not to use a scoring system, leaving the reader's impression from the author to determine if the QB game reviewed is worth a download.
V Planet welcomes Lovely Pressure to the mix of QB game review sites and hope that the website has a long and healthy life. As an Internet community grows, more websites are needed to cater to whatever needs that community requires. Among GBGames, Lovely Pressure, and V Planet, there is a guarantee that for some time, the QB community's gaming needs will have plenty of hands when it comes to game reviews.
