Former QB Programmers Break Into Industry
(6/5/2002) Shadow of Power creators Master Creating bring their first major commercial game to the world.
The boxart for Imerion is as professional as the game itself.

Remember Master Creating? The programming troupe, lead by programmer Merlin, released two great QB games: QB Gaming Gold Award winner Shadow of Power and the QB puzzle game Diamond Fighter IV.

After finishing Diamond Fighter IV, Master Creating started development into what would have been the programming group's first strategy game, titled Imerion. The QB-coded game boasted beautiful 800*600 SVGA graphics and a unique, turn-based battle format. A particularly impressive trailer of the game was shown during the 2000 QB Expo.

As development of the game Imerion continued, the announcement came by Master Creating that the German-based programming group would now be moving into the world of commercial gaming. While their QB projects would still be free, Master Creating would shift Imerion into Blitz Basic.

After months of waiting, the fruits of Master Creating's labor have come full effect. The Master Creating website, formerly a QB website, now hosts the programming company's two main projects, The Tales of Imerion and Krakout Unlimited. Both games can be purchased on their website.

To see screenshots of Imerion, and just how far the game has gone since it's roots as a QB title, you can visit the official Imerion website at Imerion.net. Fans of Master Creating may notice some familiar graphics used at the website.
