Legally Blonde is just one of those movies that deserve to win something. The "Clueless-gone-College" movie starring Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair raked in $96 million dollars in the Box Office, making it the official surprise hit of the Summer. But between the Academy Awards and Golden Globes, this comedy about Harvard Law didn't really get the recognition that it's capable of. Enter the MTV Movie Awards. This annual voter's choice event for movies targetted toward the teenage and older demographic has Legally Blonde up for three nominations, made up of Legally Blonde for Best Movie and Reese Witherspoon up for Best Female Performance and Best Comedic Performance. Other movies included in the nominations are Shrek, Pearl Harbor, Rush Hour 2, American Pie 2, The One, Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, A Beautiful Mind, Moulin Rouge, Ali, Queen of the Damned, Training Day, and more.
