As the process of changing the V Planet website to the new site layout continues, our mailboxes have been swamped with job applications from enthusiastic gamers and programmers. To give these potential journalists their fair shake, the Job Openings section of our site has been altered to indicate that V Planet will no longer be accepting jobs at any position except for freelance writer. This decision will take effect until all the remaining job resumes we've received have been evaluated and a response has been sent to everyone who applied for a position. With an Editor, Entertainment Writer, a Web Techician/Web Designer, a Game Guides writer, a QB Links Manager, a small group of QB programmers, and a handful of resumes left to observe, V Planet is blessed to have a great number of experienced people in our staff, each with diverse opinions about game design and the QB community as a whole. We thank everyone who applied to be a part of V Planet and apologize that it is taking so long to evaluate every single resume. Like our recent switch to somewhat daily updates, evaluating job applicants is a process that is in need of some reorganization. And when the new layout is in place and everybody in the staff is able to update the site on their own terms, the benefits of a daily updating system will truly be seen and enjoyed by staff and readers alike.
