Then have we got a job for you.
As QB game developers become more numerous and spread out, it becomes the job of QB journalists to track down these visionaries and get the inside scoop on the latest QB games. That's why being a news reporter is a very important job when it comes to a news-article driven site like V Planet! QuickBasic Magazine. While well-staffed in the game reviewer category, V Planet is currently looking for some talent for the news section of the site. "It's important to have a combination of news articles and game reviews with each update," explains V Planet editor Vance Velez. "Some of our readers like the news best, while other readers come here for the game reviews. To please both crowds, V Planet needs more reporters to cater to both audiences and regain a balance with out updates." The reporter's job in V Planet is to interview QB programmers. Usually the Managing Editor will ask reporters to interview someone, but a reporter can go off on his or her own if there's an inside scoop. Reporters can also write QB articles that show up in our QB News section. If you're interested in signing up for the position of news reporter, send us an e-mail containing your qualifications in summarized, resume form. Include what websites you've written to before, as well as other accomplishments that pertain to your writing and journalistic ability. Also, send some URLs of some QB or other programming articles you've authored. Article written by QBShire |
