Three More Go For Gold
(12/22/99) We've been getting a lot of mail asking about nominees. And we got plenty for these new additions to the ballot for the QB Gaming Gold Awards.
Does Lianne have what it takes to make a comeback in the 2000 QB Gaming
Gold Awards?
The following nominees have been added to the 2000 QB Gaming Gold Awards in the following categories:
Best Music in
a Video Game
Due to a lot of mail, TMB Production's
action/platform adventure Around the World
has just been added to the list of nominees for Best Music in a Video Game.
Best Gaming Babe
This was a major one. When we first received
mail for nominees, we never received a nomination for
Lianne
from The Dark Crown. We've paid for it ever since-- we received
letters from angry bunny-slayers everywhere. So now she's entered the ballot.
But it will be tough to intercept Cookie, Namnam, Kamyla, Ninusa, and Amin
in their respective run for Best Gaming Babe. Does Lianne have the courage?
Only you can save her.
Best Arcade Game
Frankly, this nomination surprised us.
We received a couple of mails and suggestions in the chatrooms about a
game called QB Invade. We don't have
it up in review but you can get it at qbasic.com. We're curious
to see if this Space Invaders clone can sprint past arcade powerhouses
Wetspot 2, Monospace, Around the World, Mooncrap, and Spinball.
