QB Expo Coverage, Part #4

(8/30/2000) The 2000 QB Expo comes out and the site has already won a big award... barely.

It's not a matter of whether the Expo could be one, it was a matter of when.

For the second month in a row, a site related to V Planet has received the NeoBasic Site of the Month award. The award, which started in July by QB affiliate NeoBasic, honors QB sites for their dedication to the QB community. But whereas V Planet! QuickBasic Magazine won the July award, the August award goes to the 2000 QB Expo website!

Strangely enough, this month's winner of the NeoBasic Site of the Month was voted by members of the QB community through the use of NeoBasic's polling system. This means that the 2000 QB Expo was determined to be the site of the month by NeoBasic's readers before the site was even launched! This further underlined the importance of the QB Expo being a success, and furthermore accentuated the fact that there was no way the QB Expo would be released as late as September (thus disqualifying itself from the NeoBasic Site of the Month award.)

The 2000 QB Expo, which recently just opened to the public, can be visited by following the link here.
