First of all, we'd like to thank Piptol
for setting us up with cjb.net and giving us our new short-hand
URL, vplanet.cjb.net. For those of you who've visited this site
before, you probably know how much of a pain it is to enter the long URL
for V Planet! Quickbasic Magazine, www.fortunecity.com/rivendell/dungeon/703.
Our new URL makes it much easier to reach V Planet! without searching for
us on a links page or writing down a long URL, and this easier access is
thanks to Piptol.
Piptol is a QB programmer new to the QB scene. His current project is Kingdoms 2, a strategy game. Please click on the link above and check out his site!
AlienQB's
QBasic Dungeon
Our site just got our first award! AlienQB's
QBasic Dungeon recently gave us the "Superb Site Award". This award
is handed out once per month by The QBasic Dungeon to honor sites that
have helped out the QB community. The Dungeon awarded this banner to V
Planet! for our continuous efforts to cover QB news.
Because this is the first time we've been honored, we at V Planet! are especially greatful for earning this award. While playing outstanding QB games has its own benefits, it's always nice to be honored for slacking off, putting off assignments, and simply doing what we do best: review QB games!
AlienQB recently joined our QB Affiliate program. His site, AlienQB's QBasic Dungeon, is currently a showcase of QB classics and is being updated constantly.
