Vote V Planet For The Statto Site Awards!
(4/21/2001) For some people it is above them to shamelessly promote their QB website when they are nominated for the Statto Site Awards. Fortunately, such is not above the folks at V Planet.
Shameless campaigning won't work without votes, and only you can help make it happen!
For the last week or so our QB Affiliate StattoNet has been aggressively pushing it's first major QB event, the Statto Site Awards. This QB event is a viewer's choice event for QB sites, in which sites are nominated and then voted for by the community in various categories.
After site nominations have cleared, we're happy to announce that V Planet! QuickBasic Magazine was nominated for three Statto Site Awards, including nominations for Best Game Review Site, Best News Site, and Best QBasic Site of 2001.
Now that the Statto Site Awards is in it's critical voting phase, now's your chance to help V Planet by voting for us in the Statto Site Awards. If for nothing else, vote for V Planet because an award or two from the QB community for all the Game reviews and news coverage we've done would truly be a honor that would leave our staff humbled and happy. All you have to do to make V Planet humbled and happy is head straight to the ballot, click in support of our site, and submit the ballot.
Voting for the Statto Site Awards ends at May 1, and you're allowed to vote once per day. So if you really want to support your favorite QB sites, every vote counts!
Also, even if you're not a big fan of V Planet, you can also vote in the ballot for fellow nominees New QBasic Developer's Center, Berzniz.tripod.com, QBasic/QuickBasic News, Future Software, Pickers Games, GBGames,The QB Top 50, QB Top 219 QBasic Sites, Piptol Productions, Master Creating, Aethersoft, Connor's QBasic Links Page, and Trints Software. Remember that the more votes received, the more accurate the vote count will be when compared with the entire QB community. So every vote in this event will really count.
