Time For Some Early Spring Cleaning

(2/27/2001) By popular demand, V Planet is setting aside a little clean-up time to meet all of your demands and catch up with the pace of the community.

Between broken links and other grime, a lot needs to be cleaned up.

It happens about once a year to every QB news site every now and then. In this case, V Planet! was flooded with tons and tons of news to print-worthy news during the month of February, and as a result V Planet got congested. Now there needs to be some clean-up time made so that we can catch up with the latest news and games available.

To tackle this problem, the best way is to start from the ground up. Primarily, all the changes that have been taking place in QB sites all over the Internet result in a residual slime of broken links and indirect downloads. We've already received many notices in the V Planet! Discussion boards about some of the outdated slime that we've located so we can repair them. We encourage our readers to report any more broken links or downloads through our discussion board if you stumble upon them.

Once V Planet's links are clean and the clogs of broken downloads are emptied, then the flow of QB articles can start again. And there's a lot to report, including the finished version of The Gaming Gold Awards site, some input from the folks at Master Creating, a little something special from Piptol Productions, and a mess of game reviews and surprises that still need to be done. But if the "early Spring Cleaning" isn't done immediately, then all the broken links will compound and V Planet will become more and more dirty and unpleasant. This just won't do and the problem has to be taken care of now.

Needless to say, many of us including Diamond Titan, our resident Links manager, is on the job. He's already reported many broken links himself and they're all being tended to. This shouldn't take very long; it's all happening behind the scenes and it should be done by next update. Just remember that every effort is being made everytime to make V Planet as efficient and comfortable reading and gaming experience as possible.
